Cold tea with ginger, mint and honey
Ingredients
- 6 cups of water
- 1/4 cup. ginger, peeled and chopped
- 60 g of mountain tea (flower) (depending on how strong we want it to be)
- 1/2 cup mint leaves and a few more for serving
- 1 ½ cup honey
- 1 lemon, cut in half
Instructions
1. Pour the water and the pieces of ginger into a saucepan Once they come to a boil, remove them from the heat and add the tea and mint leaves. Cover the dish and leave it aside for about 15 minutes.
2. Strain the tea. Add the honey and the juice of half a lemon to the drink. Transfer to a pitcher, let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate.
3. Cut the remaining half of the lemon into thin slices and, when you are going to serve the tea, add 1-2 slices to each glass, along with ice cubes and a few mint leaves.
