A refreshing and aromatic drink, perfect for warm days. Prepared with Greek Mountain Tea, ginger, mint, and honey, it combines herbal notes with natural sweetness and a touch of citrus freshness.
Ingredients
- 6 cups water
- 1/4 cup ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
- 60 g Greek Mountain Tea (depending on how strong you would like the flavour to be)
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, plus extra for serving
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 lemon, cut in half
Method
- Add the water and ginger to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and add the Greek Mountain Tea and mint leaves. Cover and leave to infuse for about 15 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a large jug. Add the honey and the juice of half the lemon, stirring until the honey dissolves. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature before transferring it to the refrigerator.
- Slice the remaining half lemon into thin rounds. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice, add 1ā2 lemon slices to each glass, and garnish with a few fresh mint leaves.
Enjoy!
